The house is situated in Gordons Bay, a small village popular with South
Africans who know the best of what the country has to offer. Its not
difficult to see why: unlike much of the Cape, the sea is warm and safe.
Then there are numerous nature reserves and beautiful walks in the vicinity.
If you prefer to be more active, you can go deep-sea fishing or sailing and
there are three excellent golf courses nearby.
Down the road is the renowned Stellenbosch
wine region, alternatively use Gordons Bay as your starting point to the
Garden Route. In spring, pods of whales can be seen and heard from the
balcony.
In all, Gordon's Bay is a wonderful location
