With origins dating to the mid 1800's, this beautifully restored and extended Cape Dutch house is the epitome of Karoo hospitality, elegance and history.

Our eight large bedrooms, en-suite with "much talked about" bathrooms, are uniquely decorated with antiques, fine linen and all the accoutrements to make your stay memorable.

Set in verdant lawns and gardens with a swimming pool, De Bergkant Lodge breathes "welcome home". Breakfast comprises local fare, produced and baked here in Prince Albert, which you can enjoy in the garden or in our poolside dining room.  

There are mysterious delights to be discovered within the grounds, including the "star baths" in the secret garden and the herbal hot water pool. Our Wellness Centre provides further pampering.
