The Gallery Guest House is situated on the hill above the centre of the original old KNYSNA town. It is in close proximity to the information office, shops, markets, restaurants and the famous Knysna Lagoon. From the verandahs of the house, one is able to relax in the sun, away from the busy little town, and in the evenings, enjoy the sunsets in the west, before choosing a local restaurant for dinner. Many of these restaurants are in 2 minutes walking distance of the house. The Gallery Guest House lounge displays an interesting variety of local South African art (including township art), as well as art from other parts of Africa. |
