Colonel Graham Guest House is situated in the tranquil environs of Lansdowne Road which is close to the city center as well as being ideally situated for visitors to Grahamstown’s private schools and Rhodes University.

The guest house has an attractive private garden which exudes a peaceful atmosphere in which our guests can relax. The guest house is owner-managed by Denise Hobson whose priority is to provide a friendly service and to ensure that all your needs are met.  

A busy commercial, cultural and educational center, the city of Grahamstown is situated in a temperate valley between the coastal plain and the hinterland of the Eastern Cape. Its strategic location makes the city readily accessible by road and air.

 Having restored this old home its owners, Dee and Carey Hobson, decided to name this establishment Colonel Graham Guest House because they felt that it reflected much of the fascinating and unique history of Grahamstown.

The garden cottage has been named Khoisan Cottage as attribute to the Khoisan people who are also an integral part of Grahamstown’s history.
