Whale Tour
Whalewatching in Hermanus
Hermanus is home to the Southern Right whale during the months of July to November.
Scenic drive along the False Bay coastline
Harold Porter Botanical Gardens
Wine tasting in Hermanus area
Whale watching
Returning through the Grabouw region
Sir Lowrys Pass
This tour is aimed at giving you the chance to see as many whales as possible. This is along the outbound route and in Hermanus itself. The high cliffs are a perfect viewing platform from which to watch these gentle giants of the ocean. It must be understood that we make every effort to see whales but there is no guarantee that the weather will play its part or that the whales themselves will make an appearance. However the route we take in both directions is really spectacular coastal and mountainous areas. The town of Hermanus is very picturesque and its wonderful exploring the many quaint little shops around the old harbour area. Boat based whale watching is a possibility from Hermanus and we would need to pre-book this if you should be interested. Boat based watching is presently on a trial period and studies will determine if this has any effect on the whales or not. Currently it is a possibility.
