The Pont is situated 4kMs from the town of Port St Johns and is located on the the original site of the pont used many years ago to cross the Umzimvubu River. In fact there are still remnants of the pont on the property, and the rustic chalets are all built on frames from the pont. The resort was started in 2001 and has grown each year. There are TV's in all our
cabins with SABC, ETV, MNET, or DSTV channels. Even though most of our guests prefer
not to have TV. We do have our weekly reps from the Eastern Cape and Natal who enjoy
a relaxing evening of viewing.
Our peaceful small and exclusive paradise is just waiting to be filled with happy
faces and families having a good time and enjoying themselves.
