Each well appointed suite leads onto a veranda where a guest can quietly sit, watching birds in our bird filled garden or enjoy the silence, while sipping an ice cold drink from the honesty bar or walk down the steps into the shade of a large oak tree. The 5 bedrooms are split into 3 units, each with a kitchenette, air-conditioned dining-room/lounge, braai area and the use of a swimming pool. In each bedroom there are two large hotel type beds and the en suite bathroom is fully tiled with a shower, basin and toilet.

This old Karoo home, circa 1856, has been created into a small boutique-type accommodation centrally situated in Graaff-Reinet, the jewel of the Karoo.
Our guesthouse, named Aa’Qtansisi, is derived from the authentic original Khoisan language, meaning “We welcome You”.

Five double rooms, all en-suite and with private entrances, lead into the colourful garden behind the imposing Edwardian "Feather Baron" mansion that is home to hosts Roy and Marietha van Hoffen. Three rooms are in the converted barn and stable of the original property, and two are newly built. All of them boast space, privacy and comfort, plus the use of a large pool and lapa with braai facilities.
